ps send me those magazines you are sick of ya'all. I love thumbing them, again, and again, and when I have done it five times over.. again. Funny how you "love" a pattern, receipe this time and then look another time and low and behold there is something that catches your eye in the same mag that you were not so hot on the first round. I love it. I will be sitting outside the post office box waiting their arrival. should I tap my feet or just hum in anticipation?

Sending out to my sp tomorrow. Package all packed up and ready to go. It is going west of me and maybe a little bit north, too.

    Krystyna,
When is the deadline for the patriotic blocks? (forgot ) I got one made so far but now am working on my class reunion stuff....nametags, memory board, etc. I will not be able to do any more until after the 20th of this month. I am still okay? Right?

Krystyna - Wishful thinking... What about Oregon? Besides, I was always told it's Nu Yawk.

Faye - I'm so sad for you. Losing a family member is losing a part of yourself. Thoughts, prayers, and hugs. I know your brother will be waiting to greet you someday in a very beautiful and amazing place.

Thanks for all the nice comments about my patriotic block. It was fun to make, and I hope the gal is pleased with the end result. Can't wait to see the end result.

To the new people, you can also add things that don't cost anything like your beloved and favorite recipes, or information printed from the internet. I'm planning on sending a really nice write up about something my SP uses. If she has seen it already, fine - it only cost me the paper and ink to print it. If she hasn't, it cost about 10 cents and a little time and research. If they like to applique, you can also search the internet for free patterns (or even coloring book pages) about things they like. I have a light box and am more than happy to get this type of thing. If you have duplicates of items and don't need them, that does not count as an expenditure. Sometimes I get samples of things from different places. Last month I sent a perfume sample to my SP. If she doesn't like it, well, my feelings will remain intact if it is regifted or tossed (which I will never know anyway). Pictures of the scenery where you live is nice - I often send a photo of the Pacific Ocean where I hike and write a note on the back. Just some suggestions.

Vanogay - Good for you to sticking to your beliefs and principals. I am a loyal friend and have done that at work lately, but there are those who judge me based on who I befriend. The perception of this person is all wrong, and I will not abandon her for the gossip mongers. Glad to hear you are one who sticks to their guns.

Simply beautiful. What colors are you considering? And you DO have a lot to be excited about. Congrats on the new Pfaff.

I bought the kit from a store in KS near where I used to live because none of the LQS here (within 150 miles) carry it - so the mailed me everything all at once.
