I bought my turkey lacers at Bed Bath and beyond. Went on line to check them out, but the S&H was way expensive ($6.95) which was way more then tax. I made some and entered 4 into my county fair - they took a first. I'll send a picture when I get them back tomorrow. My grocery store doesn't have the metal lacers, just the bamboo ones. Maybe closer to Thanksgiving...
Everyone who has posted with pictures and box content descriptions, cool. Everything looks real neat. I was so sure that one coming to Tennessee was coming here, but not to be. Mail has run for today, so will be on the look out on Monday when I get home - we taking a friend out for her birthday. Havaplenty, good luck with the changes in your life, so much going on at once.

Thank you sooo much Gaijin for all of the goodies...She sent me a quilt magazine from Japan and the patterns inside are so amazing (and in Japanese)...really cool..she also sent four pieces of amazing fabric, obviously like nothing I've ever seen....also 2 types of pins, 2 spools of thread which I asked for and desperately needed haha, a pattern, some ribbon, a container of pretty seed beads, 3 packages of Japanese treats , and an awesome card...thank you again Deb, I L*O*V*E everything!!

I also had to bend mine. What I did was bend it straight, then bend it into a loop in the OPPOSITE direction.. I took a chunk out of my finger. I found a pack of 6 at walmart in a clearance aisle for 75 cents. Here's the first and only one I've made so far

Oh and yes, it's going to my SP. it's much prettier in person and I didn't like the jewelry and metal glue I got cause it left a white film everywhere that I had to scratch off. I also glued my fingers together briefly. hehe. I shouldn't be allowed to do things.

My letter carrier has already been here today - guess it's not me.

Secret pal I know you have been stalking your mail box so I just decided to send you a teaser until I finish putting your package together - kind of like a pre-package appetizer.
