Would that be .... 1) land of oil wells, swimmin' pools and movie stars

    or

    2) land of oil wells, cattle, and cotton?

    or

    3) neither, not even close?

Mailed my official secret pal package - the town it's shipping to was named after it's first postmaster.

Well, looks like everyone has been quite busy the past few days. I missed reading everyone posts and boy was there alot of them. All caught up now. I have been so busy since my last post. The kiddos are starting school this Thursday so we have been doing all the back to school shopping. That meant two days of an hour long ride across the mountain to go shopping then back home only to repeat again the next day. Then we spent the entire day Sunday at the bowling alley with church group, then yesterday finishing up getting things ready for school. Today, making apple pie jam. YUM.

To my SP, DH is mailing out your package today, will check tracking to give you day it should arrive. Well back to the kitchen to make some more jam.

Mine went parcel post because well I was cramming stuff that wouldn't fit in a priority flat rate.. so it's a big padded envelope.. I mean big. It was only $20. I didn't mind that. I felt like I fit as much as I would have in a medium priority box for half the price. I'm not sure if it'll take longer though. The lady at the post office told me 7-10 days.

I will take a photo later and try to post it but have asked Cheryl to post if she took a photo. Once again Cheryl thanks for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
