I received a wonderful surprise from my secret pal Brenda21..just when I needed a pick me up. She sent a travel sewing kit in a nice container to hold it in, a strawberry pin cushion (my kitchen is decorated in strawberries) , a half yard of Thimbleberries fabric and 2 fat quarters of lavender and pink fabric, 2 huge bundles of 2 1/2 inche squares from her great grandmothers stash, a nice note, a pattern called "The Teachers Pet" and the cutest quilters pin with notions hanging on it..made of clay. Thank you so much Brenda. It was such a thrill to open it. My husband brought it in and put it on the kitchen table for me to find. He watched as I opened it..and said "did I miss Christmas?" Thank you again..I love the pretties you sent. I am going to the beach for the weekend, when I get back I am going to make Teachers Pet.
We are celebrating my daughters A in her finals for the semester..she will be starting her last semester in two weeks..finally coming to the end...and she will graduate in Dec. with her RN.
