Incredible packages -- but cutting to the chase, here is the news from Lori's friend Kathy:
She is doing fine. Doctor's were able to repair not one, but two hernias. She was in surgery from 1045 am to about 215 pm and is in intensive care for at least tonight, just as a precaution. I imagine she will be pretty sore, but they did do an epidural to lessen her pain for at least 12-18 hours. She hopes to be home Friday or Saturday. I am going to try and go see her on Thursday. If there are any changes in her recovery, I will let you know. Thank you for passing this on to others. I know Lori appreciates what you are doing in keeping everyone informed. Bless you!!

Here are pics of the wonderful package I got from Ginger (Bullock2us). I got lots of lovely fabric, some in fall colors and some brights. The cutest, prettiest owl themed table runner. An owl tissue holder, owl whisk, owl themed notes pads, key lime pie lip balm, sew-it magazine, a pen (that says "behind every successful woman is a substantial amount of chocolate....LOL), a large halloween/owl themed shopping bag/tote and some pistachios. I love it all, thanks again Ginger!

They lied, it must have been traveling extra fast, it's here. Everything you sent is perfect, love the FQ's and panel, varigated thread to quilt them with, new patterns, candy to get fatter on, reference book I don't have or a scissor fab. Your crochet dish rag is just to pretty to use, think I need to frame it and use it for decor in my kitchen. Thank you so much...a perfect surprise!!
