The dq I made for JennyPenny is going out in the mail tomorrow.

Go figure I forgot to pick up more flat rate envelopes when I was
at the post office last Thursday (thinking I had some already) but
low and behold I was out.

It is sure feeling like Autumn here today, current temp (at 9:30am)
is 53 degrees with a high expected to be 66 degrees. Over the weekend
    it was in the 80's.

    Happy (gggrrrrr) Monday everyone.

Louise, order them online, they're free and it saves you gas. I order the PADDED Flat Rate envelopes because the PO doesn't carry them. I have even had them ask me at the PO where did I get them.

Well I had hoped to be able to finish my quilt over the weekend. LOL I went up to my friend's sister's cabin up up north here in NH and I brought my DQ and thought or imagined sitting at the camp and watching the water flow down the river while I quilted away. Didn't happen. We played scrabble and went 4 wheel riding instead. Oh well, I Have this week to work on it. I sure hope my partner likes it. I do miss being on line everyday and reading what everyone is doing but hey I don't get to come back here all the time.

    Teresa,

NORMALLY I do order them online, but I thought I still had
some left from the last order, but I discovered I didn't (or I hid them).
As to having to wait for them to be delivered I just went to my PO
to pick up a couple to hold me over until my new order arrives.
Yes it is the padded flat rate envelopes that I am referring to.

I guess there is a PEBCAK issue again today, maybe I just need
coffee and breakfast (been up for 2-1/2 hours and still have not ate).

Ljdugas, (Linda), Your doll quilt is winging it's way to you. I mailed it out this morning. So, it will be to you soon. I am so excited. I love how it came out and hope you like it also.

Needlegrammy, I love the primitive art feel to your doll quilt. It is adorable!!

Haven't been on the QB in a week and come to find out I've 8 pages to catch up with!

Quilty-Louise: Mr. Dude looks like he did a good job of folding himself already. Great photo and wonderful colors! I see he is your adorable avatar now

Paula (Dragonfly Nana) - the memorial angel quilt with the two labs keeping vigil that you created for Jim's family just brought me to tears. Such a loving thing that you did for them. My heart goes out to all of you. ... Also on your DQ fior this swap - I love the pattern you chose and how you used a curvy center diamond. The batik fabrics are wonderful too!

BJolly, the quilt Donna made for you is sew cute - I love the Indian corn and canning jars!

JennyPenny - your oak leaf applique with little yellow flowers is so wonderful! Great job!

Wanda Lou - you picked very pretty fabrics and I like how you used the curvy line quilting.

Krystyna I am Oh So Impressed by your NY beauty blocks! Love how you used the colors too!

Linda, the cross quilt you made for Judith is very pretty. The addition of the darker border really makes it pop!

Needlegrammy - your primitive fall pumpkin quilt is too cute. The fabrics really are perfect too!

jillnjo - i'm waiting with bells on for your quilt to get here and am soo excited about it. But also i'm a bit embarassed. My DH is away on a week long business trip, so when i finish your quilt this week i would like to hold it here until he he returns so he can see it before I send it off on Monday. He helped me wiht the idea. I hope you do not mind too much. (blushing face)
