Terriamn - Bless you and your dh in this new "adventure"!!!! I bet I would have crossed my eyes many, many, many times from April until now. With that said . . . if you want to run away . . . think Alabama door's open!

My package is in the mail to Mariposa "Expected delivery day is Saturday 09/12/2015" (according to the receipt!!)

Terriamn lots of work to complete, glad for you that it has begun. Big quilt for sure...finally finished the quilting today, think my back and shoulder's are aging very fast!! Two days and 9 long arm bobbins later, that's a lot of thread... Went ahead and sewed on the binding and am ready to hand sew it on. Will take me a week I'm sure.

Three sets done and three more to go. I am enjoying the different fabrics. Three of my sets will be pieced and three will be appliqued.

I know the feeling with delays in home improvements. We had a new roof put on and it took almost 6 weeks, one due to the workers only working on the weekend. They stated it was a small roof and the bigger jobs were for the weekdays. The workers would work til 1 in the afternoon. Would drive my husband crazy and I was the person he complained too. I was ready to run away too. I did not get a whole lot of planned sewing done during that time, which drove me crazy.

Terriamn & fellow members, going to MSQ co, is worth the drive. I live 1 1/2 hours away. I go with a friend and we make a 1/2 day of it every 4-6 months. And yes the fabric is overwhelming. The nice part is they have made small stores with each store having groups of fabric. Like batiks in one store, holiday fabric in another, etc. They have at least 6 stores in a 1-2 block area. It is very easy to walk from one store to the other.

That sounds like so much fun happylab...a little longer trip for me but would love to go, just to see what all is there.

    Smile Pictures! Here they are.

I think they all came out great and they play nice together. I better get them ready for shipping before I sew them all together. I hope you like them.

Thanks! I know I feel tempted to safe on shipping and just sew them together but if I do I get none of the wonderful blocks the other swappers made. ~smile~
