Quiltingnonie they are both beautiful! I'm just a tad bit more partial to woven ribbons! But very beautiful!

Brenda don't be nervous-keep it simple and lay out your pieces before sewing. It will come to you. Just have fun and relax!

I am new to this forum, although an experienced quilter. I was drawn directly to this block swap, and as batiks are my absolute favorite, I'd love to join this block swap if you have room for one more.

I'll report back as soon as I decide on a block pattern.

Greetings to everyone from Ohio and I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas with you.

Pretty, pretty, pretty. I like the bright, vibrant colors and I like BOTH blocks. Great job.

You can put me down for the Four Winds block from quilterscache. I think it would lend itself well to batiks.

Four Winds would be stunning in batiks. Do let us see your block when you finish one. There's nothing like seeing blocks from other participants for a swap to excite the other members of the swap. I have my pattern, D4P, and my batiks and will be making the FIRST CUT this afternoon, (after luncheon with non-quilting friends - every quilter should have a few non-quilting friends to amaze with her talents!).
