Batik Block Swap-Sign ups close June 30, 2010

Since someone else has said they are doing D9P, would it be a problem if I did it also?
I said the strip pieced pinwheel/windmill one, but now that I'm looking at my batiks, some of them are wanting to be in bigger pieces than 2-1/2" strips, and others are just fine with being more narrow.
If that's not OK, I'm also thinking about a square in a square (two borders, one narrow, one wider around a 6" center square).
What do y'all think? Or should I just go on and do 2 sets? May do that anyway, if I have time.

Here is my block, from various sources, it is called the Flying Dutchman aka Whirligig aka Flyfoot and many more names. Per Delaware Quilts, to the Buddhists, the symbol represents good fortune and for the Navajo its known as the whirling log and symbolizes the four cardinal directions. There is a lot of history on this pattern as many cultures around the world have used this image! Enjoy :)
