I am really getting impatient for the end of the month to roll around for the ship date! :lol: I can't wait to see what I get. The blocks are so wonderful and what a mix! I know I have said it before but I don't envy Dagny the chore of divvying these blocks up. Out of curiosity Dagny, are you just going to randomly pick or are you going to try to pick things out that go together by color or what? I think I would drive myself insane trying to put together the groups.
Hopefully by the time they ship this awful hot weather will break and I will feel like sewing! It has been so hot I just want to melt on the couch when I get home.

I'm going to be somewhat selective to make sure that I'd be satisfied with each group of 12 and that the 11 blocks added to each quilter's submission look nice with the original block. I realize that it's subjective and that there are limitations, but we have an outstanding mix of blocks and colors and I think all will be well in the end.
I share your excitement, having seen all of the blocks in person. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Just to update you, we now have a total of 48 participants. I've received 31 envelopes even though we're not quite at the mailing date yet, and I've corresponded with the others. We're in excellent shape.
