Hey, beating yourself up is not allowed here. The rest of us think your block is lovely. I couldn't applique my way out of a paper bag so I am in awe of those of you who do such beautiful work.

FINALLY!! Boy it takes awhile to get stuff down here.. I think we must be still using the pony express! My blocks got here today and I am almost ready to make a quilt out of them. I have set a goal for myself and my reward for putting together the RW & B blocks is getting to put these into a quilt! I am so excited! Thanks again for all the hard work in the making and in the sorting!

    Peace and Prayers

smtp5, I hope I get one of your blocks! Just because it's different, doesn't mean it's bad. It's lovely and very special BECAUSE it's different!

My blocks came today, and they are wonderful. Thanks everyone. This has been the best swap I've ever done. And special thanks to you, Dagny, for doing such a wonderful job sorting them all out. (We did so well on this one, maybe we need to do it all again????)

I'm not opposed to doing a second round, but if we're going to do it, I think the participants would want to know pretty quickly before assembling their current blocks into a quilt.

So, if anyone is interested in continuing the batik project with a second round, sound off. Perhaps we could do it with a long enough time horizon to get it past the holidays.
