moonrise - I like your idea - especially since you really get to know each of us and a reminder of what was sent (via photo - if your like me, I forget easily!) I may try this but on a smaller scale....will see
    Thanks for showing the photos.
I like the rock idea - I have made and distributed the hearts www.ifoundaquiltedheart.com but people don't always know that they can take them. Those rocks I can make with grands and let them place them. Great !!

Great to have you back djmat. Hope your computer has learned to behave!

Moonrise, I'm enjoying your Arkansas Crossroads adventure. Love those rocks! Way back, my mother taught me to paint with dots, but I couldn't have come up with anything as wonderful as yours. This is also the first time I heard about leaving rocks for others to find. Just what our scary world needs these days

I'm getting a lot more than fabric squares from this swap. Hugs to you all.

So Moonrise, you are going to have enough to make a king size quilt from your birthday candies. I calculate 100" x 120" with no boarders (assuming you have 30 birthday well wishers). It is going to be gorgeous, and memorable. It is so amazing that you can't "pick wrong" when making a scrappy. So many people stress over choosing the next correct scrap. You have proven it doesn't matter. It looks beautiful totally random with 30 different peoples taste, combined, in choosing fabrics. Have you thought of adding a board name signature to your blocks, since that is how you assembled them ? Just a thought. You are an inspiration to us all. Love the progress pics. Jane Quilter

Still using my cell to post to the thread. ..dd is loading my new computer and hubby is about finished laying wood down the busy hallway. Had delicious grilled cheese for mother's day...a real treat considering my nutty diet!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU MOMMIES!
