JaneQuilter, I like the block you found on the internet with the surfboard. It's similar to mine. When I designed mine, I looked to the internet too and found free images that I liked. Then reworked and combined them to what made me feel good. I guess others do the same. Lol. The internet is my creative genius. Lol.

Just got back home from a 4-day visit with my daughter and her husband in DC. Had fun, but what Crazy traffic!

Looks like there has been a bunch of chatter to catch up on. I zipped through some of the photo posts already. I enjoy seeing what others are doing, and getting ideas.

kele: I like your solid charms pot holder. I first thought the squares were random, then noticed the order of ROYGBIV! Very nice!

the double rows of candy squares are really cute. I think I recognize 2 of those sweet candy squares.

You have been busy with your 100 patch! how many 100 patches make a quilt? Size?

Enjoying seeing everyone's projects! They're all great and so inspirational! Gives me too many ideas. I've had a batik Irish chain in mind, so will probably save any batiks for that. Completed one candy project - a potholder made with solid color candies received from jaba.

hi sewbiz...lovely quilts i am wondering the measurements of the "Patch for Life" is?
Also are you going to put a border on it?
And how much of the red fabric did you need?

Another quilt to add to my bucket list!

I got it put together the other day... all I bought was the red calico which was a Keepsake Calico from JoAnn's. I knew it was going to work the minute I saw it. This is a BIG bed quilt. Full size, if not queen.

I forgot to hold my phone horizontally, so the photos loaded sideways. QB always turns vertical photos sideways.

And I don't remember if I shared this one with y'all... made from a picture on Pinterest. It's a lap quilt size and will be donated.

So you see I really AM trying to use up my squares. But I could make these two quilts ten times and not use all I have! Every time I cut up scraps, I end up with a new stack of them. They are relentless.

Sew biz...this is a wonderful quilt also. I actually like it with the 2.5 squares better. You did a great job!

How many quilts have you made since we started the new swap for this year?

Thank you for inspiring me with your beautiful top, mrshalibut!
