everyone looks like they are having fun here. This is such a Happy Place to be!!!!
Jane Quilter.....love your birdies squares with the Birthday candies! I hope mine get there before you run out of months to use them on.
Red......Acorn is very cute...would also be cute as a pillow. Do you have a pattern that you would like to share???

Hello ~ I sent out all July Birthday Wishes in the mail as of today.
We just returned from a vacation with our Adult 'kids', other family and friends, 20 in all, to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary on our son's houseboat at Lake Powell in southern Utah. Spectacular scenery of desert landscapes, phenomenal sunrises and sunsets. Nice place to visit (the desert) but sure don't want to live there ever again.... tried living in AZ made it four years until we realized we are Rocky Mountain people and moved back to the mountains. Can you believe it we actually missed snow and changing seasons!
Lake Powell area was suffering the worst heatwave in many years 120 degrees one day. These old bones of mine aren't 40 anymore and thank goodness the houseboat was air conditioned and it was decided to keep it in the covered slip with access to power to keep us cool. Speedboats could come and go from the houseboat and kept the 'youngers' in the sun to hydro-foil, water ski etc. All-in-All a great way to celebrate our anniversary with lots of stories and laughter.
In the pile of mail upon our return there were already birthday cards from several of you. Since I opted last year to open all on the big day, for me the end of the month, I will do the same this year.
Can't list what day these cards were rec'd but here is the list of rec'd cards so far. With smiles and (((Hugs))) and a big Thank-you to:
jaba
Patrick's Mom
LuciaLPL
AnnieQuilts (Love your return label :0)

Mystery envelope Magenta 7.5 X 4" bubble no return addy or postmark only ink scribbles through 3 forever stamps.
