Oh, you ladies who are visiting Lake Powell. Makes me homesick. Sniff. I lived in Page and graduated from Page High School, lo those many years ago. I miss it so much!!
Back in the "good old days" before it became such a tourist mecca with multiple marinas on the lower end, it was a great place for us bored high school kids to go hang out. Swimming, lazing on the red rocks, getting into trouble away from the prying eyes of parents and the local law enforcement.... ooops. Didn't mean to let slip that little gem!

I've been there and it is a beautiful place to go. Nice having your family with you too! Both of my sons and families will be here on Friday for a week, can hardly wait. Love when they come home and I sure miss that new little granddaughter from Florida!
I decided I really didn't need anymore quilts at the moment so made some "I Spy" type placemats. Thought the grandkids that are old enough would like the game...need something to keep them at the table and eating

Hey Ladies...please keep LuciaLpL in your thoughts and prayers. Her mom fell down today. I don't really have any other information right now except she was taken to the hospital by ambulance today. I (or Lucia) will keep you posted.

On Time Drawings:

I am so impressed with you wonderful swappers that I cut & packaged 500 2.5" charms (different fabric from my current birthday swap batch) to award a lucky swapper! I will request the on time & delayed delivery count from Barb.

Each on time swapper gets 2 chances to win & others get 1 chance to win all 500 charms. Barb is eligible, too! Everyone in the birthday swap will have a chance to win!!!, except me, of course!

The winning name will be drawn at the swap mid-point, July 31[SUP]st[/SUP], & mailed the next day!

Notice: From my new stash there will be a special drawing at the end of February 2018 of 20 new fat quarters! Only those who send August through February On Time will qualify for the FQ drawing. The FQ winner will be drawn & mailed the day after the last February birthday! Only on time swappers are eligible for the FQ drawing, including Barb.

I hope this inspires mailing early. Thanks for helping me reduce my burgeoning stash. Now I'm off to select 20 FQs from two tubs of new fabric!
