Good to know SheriR! My July finished "Fireworks Birdie" can be seen in post #1467 on this thread. (And when my finicky photobucket software decides to work, I will re-post here in July so you don't have to go searching for it). sorry for the inconvenience.

For those who may have missed it:

    On Time Drawings:

I am so impressed with you wonderful swappers that I cut & packaged 500 2.5" charms (different fabric from my current birthday swap batch) to award a lucky swapper! I will request the on time & delayed delivery count from Barb.

Each on time swapper gets 2 chances to win & others get 1 chance to win all 500 charms. Barb is eligible, too! Everyone in the birthday swap will have a chance to win!!!, except me, of course!

The winning name will be drawn at the swap mid-point, July 31[SUP]st[/SUP], & mailed the next day!

NOTICE: From my new stash there will be a special drawing at the end of February 2018 of 20 new fat quarters! Only those who send August through February ON TIME will qualify for the FQ drawing. The FQ winner will be drawn & mailed the day after the last February birthday! Only on time swappers are eligible for the FQ drawing, including Barb.

I hope this inspires mailing early. Thanks for helping me reduce my burgeoning stash. Now I'm off to select 20 FQs from two tubs of new fabric!
    hugs,
    dj

Four of the 5 July birthday packages went out yesterday, Sunday. The final will go out today. I ran out of stamps! Enjoy your Independence Day celebrations. I am going to spend my day sorting my stash and getting rid of what I really will not ever use, just don't like it. Freedom from ugly fabric, freedom from fabric that does not play well with anything and freedom from tools not used. EX: rulers with nicked corners that are no longer square! Independence from "stuff" will be my celebration!

OK, I am back and just never found the time to get on my home computer. After being gone for almost two weeks I was definately playing catchup; gardens, the house, and I am still doing laundry

Here is a list of the candies I have received to date:

    Onaemtnest
    Janice McC
    Redstilettos
    Gaijin

Thank you everyone and I will begin getting the feedback out soon.

Hope everyone has a great 4th of July holiday. Hobby and I just plan on hanging out at the house and not doing much of anything. Going to go to BBQ with friends and go to the fireworks tonight.

Personally, I'd like freedom from cleaning the house! I don't have much in the way of fugly fabrics, but I wonder if there is ever an ugly fabric swap on the board? One person's yuck may be another person's treasure?
And now to celebrate independence, I need to go to the hardware store and get some garden stakes for my huge sunflowers that are starting to lean.
