I want to take this time to sincerely thank all who took the time to ask how my dh is doing after his fall. His pain is down to a manageable level and he has started physical therapy. I am so thankful! He is sleeping all night once again, still wakes up very stiff. It hasn't helped that the doctor has told him that he has degenerative arthritis in his back.
I'm ready for a break. I have cleaned out my sewing area in our spare bedroom and have taken everything down stairs. I have to do some organizing and cleaning anyway, I'm just preparing the way!

I just had a few moments to get online to post the receipt of the five cards and then to check in with what is happening and what to my wondering eyes appear but a wonderful surprise that I was a winner (well I knew I was a winner with all these cards coming my way..) but wowser to get all that candy for doing what I said I would!!

Sherir, Love, love your birdie block. esp the themed squares surrounding it. Wowzers! How did you do their t-shirts? Did you applique fabric on their bellies? It is so perfect.
