I know and I am bringing peach pie to my niece in Jackson this afternoon. New baby boy and new quilt, of course. Jackson just knocked off a hour of your drive! Tee-Hee-Hee!

I am only about a half hour away from the one in Brooklyn Park. The one south of the cities is about a hour from my house.

The apples are ready on our apple trees. When I get back from quilt shop hopping this weekend I will have to make up an apple crisp or something. Going on round 2 of Row by Row, the southern part of MN this time.

It just isn't fair...all this talk about Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota! I lived in Ann Arbor, MI, and Minneapolis, MN and to this day wonder how I settled in Garland, TX! I'd give anything for a nice breezy day and cool evening!

I cannot believe how hot it must be in Texas. We have had some warm/hot weather around here for the last few weeks and have missed ALL the rain.

Crispy frog...Ann Arbor is right done the street from me. How long ago did you live here???

    Hello ladies

Just had to tell you all of my very fun adventure this morning. My lqs had a garage sale today. Everything was donated by their customers for the sale. There was at least 20 tables filled with fabric, kits, patterns, books, buttons, threads, scissors.....etc, etc. Then after you picked out what you wanted you gave them a donation in which they are going to turn around with the money and buy shoes for kids going back to school.

Anyway....two bags later...I was $40.00 less rich but I have a TON of goodies!

What a wonderful way to raise money for a good cause.
