We had a wonderful 90th birthday celebration day for my mom. So many nieces and nephews sent her cards with great memories they had and all she kept saying is "I had no idea" and "I don't recall that!"

Hi Barb- I just lived and worked there for 2 years...1975 and 1976. Quite a while ago. Gorgeous area. Love the whole Detroit area, too. We were back for a visit last summer. Didn't get to do anything quilty.
Our LQS had a garage sale about 6 months ago, too! Difference was-donations from all the quilt store employees. Great stuff!

I spent the weekend putting green candies together from our swaps. Planning on two sewing machine covers. I have the two flimsies done now. One in Pink and the other in Greens. It's quite colorful in there lately

Hello Ladies... I participated in last year's swap and wanted to show you how I used some of my candy. The border on this quilt is made up of 1" x 2" flying geese sewn end to end. I really like the scrappyness of it.
