Mrshalibut...my heart goes out to everyone in Texas. I am trying to think of what I can do to help them out. Thanks for foster some of the animals. That would be heart breaking to leave a pet behind. Not sure how you foster the dogs???
I use to be "Disaster Relief "for the Red Cross. I was stationed in NYC after 911. Saw some things that will never be erased from my mind. I worked in the mental health area. Very heartbreaking.

Hi ladies,
I got to see the eclipse in Wyoming with my parents! It was amazing! I spent some time up there taking care of them. Got back home and saw my darling children did not complete many of the things I asked, one of which was to please mail the quilt squares. I'm sorry they are late, but they should be there by now.
My brother is up here from Texas, visiting for the eclipse. He's lucky not to be in the flooding, but they will be taking in people to their ranch for temporary housing. I will be involved with Houston animal rescue fostering here in Colorado. I am heart broken, but am doing what I can. If anyone can foster any cats or dogs. it would mean the world to the people who had to leave them behind.

Got hold of niece & nephew, but my brother's phone isn't working. I thought he was working at sea, but niece said he retired in early summer. Nephew will go over there when the water recedes. Surely, somebody would've called by now if something was not right. He's single, I pray he is well. Thank You to all who prays for Texans right now!
