I have not been home today since 7:30 AM and it is now....8:30 PM. A long day the university. First day of classes. I will check my mailbox when I get home later this evening. I have not updated my list since... September 1. I bet your package is waiting in my mailbox.

I know I missed sending birthday wishes, I'm so sorry. Happy Birthday ladies but I do know that you already have the candies I sent. Trying to make a list and checking it twice, packing what I really need to take with us to Florida and then getting everything done here too. Now worrying about the storm and if it will effect our home there. Don't know if I'll have to fly down for insurance purposes or not. I'm a worry-wort and it just sucks.

Thank You everyone for the lovely Birthday Candies, and the tiny extras.

I received one from WMUTeach yesterday. You are next it is only a few more days!!!

My Day was very fun. My Phone rang at 9AM with a Birthday song in my ear. My sisters in Illinois called me and visited with me for over 1/2 hour. Then My family threw me and my Grandson (21 the 5th) a fun party, with cheese cake and chocolate cake and ice cream. I brought over half of the chocolate cake home and shared it with my 4 neighbors.

So again Thank you, this is so fun sending as well as receiving.

Hello Everyone

Hope everyone is well. We do not have any birthday chics living in Florida, but we do have Jance McC and Moonrise in Georgia hope you ladies are staying safe this upcoming weekend.

Also in Oregon we have Nelco and Trish b. Hope the forest fire is staying away from both of you.

Wow it is amazing what is happening in our country right now. Hard to keep away from watching CNN.

I'm in the tippy northwestern corner of Georgia, which is pretty much as far from the coast as one can get and still be in the same state (LOL!), but we're supposed to get rain and wind from the hurricane most of next week. Mother Nature needs to take a "chill pill"! Fires, hurricanes, and I just heard there was an 8.0 earthquake in Mexico.

When I looked last night it appeared Irma would head directly over us but the projected path keeps changing. Like Moonrise, I'm inland, not as far in as she is, but far enough for Irma NOT to pack the full wallop. We'll surely get rain and winds but not nearly as bad as the coast. We'll see.
