You are right, it could just be me! I'm getting ads inserted between the postings in the threads. Sometimes on or two a page. Currently there is a large-breasted anime cartoon character advertising for a game. Most times I get quilt-related ads.

So how much are you going to sell them for??? I thought about doing that also but I don't have a way to embroider the name myself.
I made one modification to Barb's instructions -- I make my cuffs 15.5" X 8" folded in half. I think her instructions said 15.5" X 6" I'm working on putting them together today, so I'll post a pic when finished. They are so cute using the candies!! Thanks again Barb for the great idea and tutorial!! I am planning on selling these at the holiday crafts boutique at our LQS in November.

Here's my 12 stockings! 4 are flipped to the back side to show the different fabrics I used on the backings. The back piece isn't quilted, all are lined, and I used Christmas fabric candies on all of them!
I'm thinking of selling them for $15 apiece? My mother who is incredibly cheap thought if I charged more than that, they wouldn't sell. Hard to say, last year's crafts sale was a big disappointment. It was held over the Veteran's Day holiday weekend and none of us did very well, so not a lot of traffic and poor attendance. This year the sale is on the 4th, so hopefully things will be different. I have lots of new inventory this year and my friend who's a woodworker just made me this beautiful display stand for my handmade soaps!! I lacked any sort of soap display last year and did not sell many bars. This should help make for an eye-catching display. I also have aprons, infinity scarves, stocking stuffers, fleece blankets, totes, etc. to sell.
Anyway, what does everyone think of a $15 price on the stockings?
