This is what I've been sewing on and off for a couple of months, a few squares at a time.

Most of the squares are from previous years' birthday candy swaps but a few are from my stash. They're on the floor and not very straight but you get the idea. Now to firm up my background color. Might try my stash of turkey reds. I've got enough of each to cut long strips to tone down the scrappiness and make it cohesive. Right now it's so darn busy, but I like it that way. Thanks for the candies and for looking.

JaniceMcC. I like your work in progress. I'm looking forward to your finished project. That is another project that is on my long todo list, just not this year. It's amazing what we get done with sewing a few blocks at a time.
My BD squishes list is up to 22. Again I want to thank each and everyone who has sent me BD squishes. The outside of the envelops looks interesting and inviting. But I want to wait until near or on my birthday. Then I will spend several hours opening and sorting out squares. 10 more days and still counting. At this moment, no big plans other than going out to eat and open BD squishes, and sewing, and sewing and sewing. Did I say I planned to sew all day. LOL
