So, when I was little, I was *very* unhappy that I had my birthday right after the Christmas holiday, I always felt like I ended up lacking since many of my Christmas gifts from my siblings would say "merry christmas/happy birthday". So I suggested that I move my birthday to July so I could have a party.

Mom said NO, that's cheating......

Personally, now I love getting gifts on more than just one day!

MizMelly, I know exactly how you feel. 62 & have had 4 birthday parties in my lifetime (10, 21, 40, 60) but I always get bodacious Christmas presents so it kinda balances out. Adore all the BD cards sent in this swap & especially the loving, handpicked ones hubby has sent each year that always make me cry with appreciation. Oh, I've kept every BD card I've ever received, so precious to me. Gonna miss this swap a lot but the UFOs are challenging me!
