Thanks for the revision. You're spoiling us --- and I love it.

Thank you for the prompt response LuciaLPL ~ I do have a light box left over from transferring photographic slides to prints. Again thanks for the help :0)

Now this may be elementary to those that transfer patterns for embroidery, do you use a water soluble pen to do the tracing or is there a better option?

FYI to all - before I had a light box, I just used a sunny window to transfer images by taping the fabric to the print out, then taping the print out (with the fabric over image) onto a sunny window. May not be the best way, but in a pinch, and for free, it works!

This IS cute! I can also see it as a wall hanging. Maybe adding little birdies on the top of the lines...

I'm adding the link to see if it works:

The candies for MrsHalibut to add to her very special day, are in this afternoon mail. Would love to hear how she chose her board name :0) Especially as of now she lives in a very land-locked state.

To answer your question, when my sons were 4, (many years ago), we were at a children's museum where they could play games on a computer (imagine that being a new thing!). When I told them it was time to go, they came hopping up to me and said, "OK, Mrs. Halibut!" I thought that was hilarious, and I asked them why they called me that, and they said the computer game they were playing was about a school of fish and the teacher's name was Mrs. Halibut. Every once in awhile, they would still call me by that name, and it stuck!

Well MrsHalibut it is so interesting to hear how we chose our board names and your story is delightful! It sounds as though your sons are probably the same age as our son, computers being a new thing. We took our son to the Children's Museum in Denver how well I remember how our son was absolutely fascinated, then Apple Computers put computers in his grade school and he so wanted us to purchase a computer for him to use at home. I remember thinking why would we ever need a computer in the home! LOL Of course that was financially astronomical to us back in the day, buying our first home, living paycheck-to-paycheck. Who knew he'd be the head of computer operations at a company in Denver one day.

I just remembered something from last years swap and maybe it's already been addressed and I 'missed' a post. It's extremely helpful to put on the return label or the envelope somewhere our board name as the birthday receiver may not know us by our real world name.

YIKES, I must send MrsHalibut a PM because I just now realized I forgot to put my board name on the outside of the envelope! It must be that gettin' old thing again...my forgetter is in full swing some days and today seems not to have been an exception day.
