Beautiful block, Pinkflowers! How smart of you.

I use a frixion pen for marking. It disappears with heat, but will reappear if you chill it again, so it's not really gone. You have to be sure to cover it with your stitching.

Barb, I may have missed this... are the straight lines on the birdie block to be done in backstitch?

Before I bought a light box (at Michaels... 40% off coupon!) I used a glass topped coffee table, with a small lamp up underneath it. And before that, a window. The light box is so nice to have, tho. I make up my quilt labels and print them on paper, then use the light box to trace the script onto my label fabric.

Barbs darling BoM quilt-a-long did me in. I'm off the fence as a lurker. Barb said I could join still even at this late date. I hope that doesn't throw anyone off as I know some of you have cut already. The good new is you have nearly a year until my birthday.

Pink Flowers this is so cute!
I would have never been able to do that on my machine! Love the squares that you choose to go around the birdie!

Welcome SheriR...so glad you will be joining us! No worries ladies she does not have a birthday until February...so you all have plenty of time to get her candies ready!

Glad you like the Birdie BOM!
