mrshalibut -I have been just staring at the two quilts you posted. Love them both!
One has a mix of scrappiness that makes my heart sing and the other has scraps grouped by color that looks just delicious. I'm trying to decide which style I like better. The more I think I like one, I'll then feel the same about the other.. Oh geeze! I may be leaning more towards the grouping of color in common units/blocks because I haven't put my scraps together that way. I usually try to mix it all up as much as possible.
Anyone else want to vote for a favorite?

Or, add a narrow 2.5" black solid inner border, then a second border of two rows of charms?
I like how the center has a floating flower, or is it a star? Nice overall design, jaba!

To answer the question specifically, the color I use most often in my quilts is blue.
I like blue, but I can't say it is my favorite. Actually, I can't really say ANY color is my favorite. I go through phases of color-fondness. (And there's a bit of my weirdness revealed!)
Although, I have always liked pink flowers, hence my board name.
Glad you decided to join us again SheriR!
I rounded up my green squares and made this "log cabin" style quilt. Haven't done the borders yet because I can't decide what to use. Any suggestions ladies???[/

Myself would stay with the green theme. Looking good Jan.

This is the one I had in mind for mine. Only because I don't think I could get that many of the same tones together to make 36 sq. blocks for the other. Love how the white controls it.
Did you randomly pick what went next to each and it just worked out, or did you have a method to the madness?
