I didn't make this one. I got the picture from the internet while looking for ideas. BUT, I know it's not random because when I put squares together randomly they look BAD. I think there is a certain percentage of lime green, pink, and bluegreen in this one that tie it together. Also, it generally alternates dark with light squares.

I like both your quilts mrshalibut, will look forward to seeing your "new" one. I think I will probably go with black and then a green. It will have to be limited green because I'm all out of green squares, used about everyone I had.

mrshalibut, I'm glad you have shown your beautiful quilt. I am making one that is very similar to yours. All the block are finished but life just keeps getting in the way.
For my favorite color to quilt with? Mostly blue but I use all colors, I love them all. Jaba your quilt top is wonderful.
For your border? Could you go for a green with a black background. Then bind it with a solid black.

By the way, several are talking about the BOM. I have been watching for it but either I just can't find it or I never got it in the first place. Could someone help me with this?

sunrise450 The block of the month directions are at post 280-281-282 and pattern at post 295. I hope this helps you and anyone else interested.

Barb The color I like most is Yellow followed by Purple family and teal family plus anything bright.
