Quick hello everyone and I hope you are having a nice Easter with your family.

Just to let you know that this is a difficult time of the year for me. My daughter who passed away (many years ago) had a birthday April 11, and she died a year later on April 20th which happen to be Good Friday. So Easter and these few weeks are very hard.

I will check back on the board probably tomorrow.

Happy Easter to all of you,

    Barb

Barb - I can't even imagine what that would feel like - but know it would be something I couldn't forget.

I understand. My sister-in-law (a most magnificent quilter) passed away just a few days past Thanksgiving. That was also a number of years ago and there is always a little cloud of sadness each year. I will pray for your peace today and in days and years to come.

Barb and Teach....those times are hard. Time makes it slightly less painful, but it never fully goes away. All I keep thinking is there is a plan....there is a plan.....I may not understand it now, but ....I try to focus on the plan.

Here's a "fun" problem to have and I'd like your input:

I started to take all my packages apart yesterday. Well, I only got a few packages in, and I am already wondering how to organize all this. I wanted to do it by color. About 50% are fairly easy. But then there are the multi-colored ones.

My first stab was to take the predominant color....but there are some that just Don't have one!

So.....how do you Veteran Charm Commando's (VCC's) take charge of your troops?

I don't. I keep them random, and use them random.....unless someone sends me a "collection" because it came off a jelly roll, or a charm pack or someone just likes and buys very specific lines of fabric. Then I just mix them up more. The only classification I give them is "Already used or received in a swap", so I know not to mail any of these out in another swap. Try to dream about how to use them, not store them! lol
