MixMelly sounds like my house today. I was looking for a basket to put fabric and blocks in for a block of the week and block of the month I'm doing and what do I find but pieces to a scrappy swoon-along. Put it up on the design wall and discovered I had run out of pink. Guess what I'm sewing now...like I need another quilt?? Good thing is it won't be a UFO.
Envelopes are showing up at my house, here's an update: the name and date received;

I received 3 candies today from Patrick's Mom, Moonrise, MizMelly Thank you. Do we wait till my b-day to open or open as I get them. This is my first time. I'm thinking if I open them as I get them I will make a block from each person and put their name on it to make a quilt 30 Blocks will make a quilt 12" size Blocks 5x6=60x72 or 35 Blocks 5x7=60x84

It's totally up to you JuanitaBean, whatever you want to do. They are your candies so whatever you decide. We do like pictures though and I will post them as I open my envelopes. May do that tomorrow, just haven't decided yet. If not... on my birthday I will take a pic and post

Help!! Is there such a thing as a poltergeist??? I bought the right background fabric, cut out large blocks, traced the April BOM onto the block, bought a brand new very nice Clover embroidery hoop, got the design hooped and then....???? I have torn the house apart looking for that hoop with the April BOM! I'm at wits end as to what happened to it. Today I gave up and bought a cheaper hoop and will start over. Sigh. Too bad we can't put a GPS on our missing UFOs.....
(hate it when that happens.....been there....more than once....and then I swear I will be more organized.....until I'm not).
