PS. This would be a good idea to others that have been collecting candies for awhile to grab partner and challenge each other to use the candies.
I'm sewing them together Until it's really big by really big. . My plan is to Just use those candy charms..... I grab and sew too, only making sure I don't have a duplicate and it's "sewable". I hope our birthday swapping ladies check twice that they've not duplicated candy and they've cut accurately (just a quiet note) ;D.

I do think it would be fun if others joined in my charming adventure! 4x4 or 12x12 or 10x10.... any amount!!! I'll be doing my May block next week!!

Good morning! My candy packages for JuanitaBean, Moonrise and Gaijin are going in today's mail. Be on the lookout for them by the weekend.

Okay, so for May babies, I think the only one that hasn't received from me yet is Gaijin?

Please let me know if you don't receive soon, as all of them were sent out at the same time. I don't want to miss anyone

I'd like to do a queen size postage stamp quilt - 4-patch, then 4x4, then 8x8 etc. until I get to 48x48. Now I'm doing 10 x 10 to make quilted pillows to donate to Hospice.

Posted pkgs to last 3 BD girls this morning. Happy birthday you sweet May babies.
Off now to rip up my uuugly carpet, clean the subfloor so we can lay down wood flooring tomorrow...if it doesn't rain. Trip to FL went well...shop hopped for 75 new fabrics but the license plates aren't available yet and they have no leftovers from 2016. Ugh

Djmat, you bought 75 new fabrics? that must have been fun! Any particular colors or genre? What was the best new collection that you found?

Here's a pic of all my cards that I opened yesterday. Lovely little pieces of fabric, I can hardly wait to play with them. the extra's that some of you sent to me are fabulous and are certainly appreciated, going to have to come up with a very special project.
Today's mail brought b-day cards from traveling gramma, trish b and sheri R. Thank you all so much

Oh! Almost forgot. Some goodies for the prize box went out this morning.

We finally got the vehicle damage check from the guy's insurance where DH's truck was rear-ended. The truck is officially in the shop being repaired. He's driving a rental car in the meantime. It's a tiny little white Hyundai ... the cheapest thing they had ... and the only thing the guy's insurance would completely cover. It's so small compared to his truck that I've been calling it a golf ball. ha ha We're still waiting to hear something on the lost income.
