Here is a tutorial on sewing blocks on point in case you need more help in assembly like I do:

That is a very cool mystery quilt! I have all the steps saved and I'm going to make one as a gift for my mom for Christmas!

OK, here we go. I have been saving all of the directions and created a word document for quick reference. I have one quilt top to finish piecing this afternoon then off to the races with our mystery! (Yes, the top I am finishing is made with 2.5 squares. That makes the second top finished this week featuring our little birthday treats.

I have not had the courage to an on-point either, Barbara so we can venture forth together. I am sure we will be seeing finishes later today and this evening. OOOOO, what fun!

Received from Jarenie today, that should be all of them. I never did on point either until awhile back. It's not hard, in fact; my first attempt came out more accurate than my straight settings. Probably because I was being more careful as it was new.

Jennr8r, oh! I'm curious what you have under the mystery quilt!

Barb, Nice work on the last steps. Just a little to cut, then sew the rows. It would have been really hard to guess that is what the quilt top was going to look like! It was a real mystery!

Oh! I like it!! Did you design it, Barb? It's the cutest pattern. I have a busy Friday and Saturday, but will get it laid out on the bed upstairs and sew as I can.

I like how there's a lot of room for pretty quilting. I'm already getting ideas on how I'll quilt it.

    Thank you, Barb!!

Barb, my brain hurts. It took me Way to long to lay this out. I am so not an on-point kind of gal. It was almost all laid out and I found I was short one 9x9. I am quite sure though that I still have enough 2.5's to make just one more 9x9. Tee-Hee-Hee! I will start sewing tomorrow. Hoping my new computer will play nice with my camera so I can post pictures of my efforts this week.
