Now, hopefully, they are layed out correctly and stay that way once they are sewn together.

MizMelly...lucky Mom! I’m sure she will love it. I am not sure what I am doing with my quilt yet. I’m sure it will find a home.

I was able to lay it out on my bed. I scribbled out my end tables lol. Yes I'm missing one 9 patch, but I figured it was under Everything somewhere. I've got three rows sewn and now it's movie time with my hubby. I hope I picked the rows up correctly and I hope more they sew correctly now that they're in piles. I'm pondering an outside border. And my 5 yr old GD has already claimed it as her "at grandma's house" blanket. That means I'll need at least three more.

Giving...I am glad the quilt remained a mystery til the end. That is one of the reasons I had you all cut the triangles last. I figured all you smarty pants would figure it out! 😉

Barb, Nice work on the last steps. Just a little to cut, then sew the rows. It would have been really hard to guess that is what the quilt top was going to look like! It was a real mystery!

I did not design this quilt myself. Thanks for thinking I could do such a thing!

I like how there's a lot of room for pretty quilting. I'm already getting ideas on how I'll quilt it.

    Thank you, Barb!!

WMUTeach......when I first laid out my quilt I thoright I was missing a 9 patch too....then I found 2 stuck together. And yes I went and made a 9 patch thinking I was short one. ☹️

QUOTE=WMUTeach;8100876]Barb, my brain hurts. It took me WAY to long to lay this out. I am so not an on-point kind of gal. It was almost all laid out and I found I was short one 9x9. I am quite sure though that I still have enough 2.5's to make just one more 9x9. Tee-Hee-Hee! I will start sewing tomorrow. Hoping my new computer will play nice with my camera so I can post pictures of my efforts this week.[/QUOTE]

Sheri....I bet you have enough candies to make at least 3 more quilts.

Glad to see that everyone is liking the mystery quilt. That makes me happy!

So I am sitting in my house in the dark (using my phone) because we lost power from a storm today. I have my grandchildren that will only think this dark game is fun for a little while. According to my almost 5 year old grandson....no one can go to bed when there is no electricity. 😳. And it’s too quiet 😳 to sleep.

The power company said it would back on at 5pm today...then 8 now they are not sure but probably before Sunday! It’s Thursday!!!

So the kids had a bath in the kitchen sink. We played bingo by candlelight and told a bedtime story of their mom when she was little, instead of reading them a book.

I guess we will see what tomorrow brings.
    Barb
