Lots of people going out of town...I am also. I leave on Monday and will be back the following Sunday. Hope to hit a few quilt shops on the way. I have not collected any of the row by rows this year. I haven't made one from all the other years so I have given up for now.

Jaba.....what are the size of piano keys???? I have never made that border before. Real like it.
Also I have found another great quilt for a quilt a long. Going to wait for awhile. This one is pretty large and it will take up quite a few squares. I have to get permission first from the board here and also from the designer so it will be awhile.
I go to a AQS show in Grand Rapids Michigan on Aug 22nd. I am taking a bus trip with lots of ladies...it should be a fun time. That is where I found our last QAL and got the permission right then from the designer. So who knows I always keep my eyes open for these sweet candy squares.
I will be checking before I leave.

The piano key border is 2 1/2" X 5". I had a lot of 5" squares and just cut them in half 
Been a little under the weather the last day or so but scheduled to begin radiation again on Monday. Couple of weeks more I think and then done until the 6 week checkup. It will be so nice not having to travel, only about 40 miles round trip, everyday but it sure takes a bite of the each day. Thank you ladies for the compliments, just need to get it quilted. Hubby gone for the weekend but he's really good about helping me load a quilt so I'm sure he will next week. Makes it easier because I can just quilt a line or 2 and then leave it until I can do it again.

Safe travels for all who are traveling. I'm going to visit my sister over labor day weekend. She is learning to quilt, so I imagine we will be quilting all weekend.
