Hello everyone

Here is step 3 to the Mystery Quilt.

You will need 2 yards of fabric. I am using a light colored Kona solid Beige. (so this is what I had to go shopping for.)

You will need to cut the following from this 2 piece yard of fabric:

Cut 2 strips 9 3/4" . Cut into 6 ...9 3/4" squares. *
Cut 2 ...7" Squares. *
Cut 4 ....7" squares...then cut these in half diagonally.
Cut 4 strips 6 1/2". Cut into 23" ... 6 1/2"squares.
Cut 3 strips ...4 1/2" ...Cut into 20 .. 4 1/2" squares.
Cut 4 rectangles that measure 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Make sure you mark all of your fabric piles with their sizes.

*..These will be cut to triangles at a later step.

Hope this all makes sense. I have included a photo. This should give everyone a chance to get caught up.

Next Clue is on June 28th. The rest of the clues are sewing.

Ladies Thank you all for the Birthday wishes, My candies are beautiful not for sure what I am going to do with them since this is my first time in the swap but I am sure I will come up with something great. I didn't really do much for the Birthday I finally reached the speed Limit (55) a joke from my grandkids and Brother. I am going to the smokies next week to take my grandkids to a really nice water park and resort so hopefully I can enjoy myself also.

Jaba, great news about your cancer. Happy thoughts for your tx to be great and that you don’t have anymore issues. Take care and remember to follow your Nurses and Dr’s orders.

Next week i will try to catch up on the mystery quilt. This week’s clue gives me a chance to play catch up. So far it looks like I can pull from my stash. No buying from LQS. Yea. I love those types of projects.

Now back to my 75 9-patch blocks. I have almost a week to have them completed. And unfortunately back to my spring cleaning. I have 6 more days before summer cleaning starts. That’s cleaning I didn’t get done before spring ended. Then I will be working on Summer cleaning. LOL, Have fun all.
