Please join us...I was also hesitant to try an exchange but I have found it to be great fun (and addictive).

[quote=RedGarnet222]Ok Girls... I am intrigued with trying a block swap. Because I have never done one before, I have shied away from doing it. So, I have the time for this swap to participate. I love the idea of the blacks and whites with a bright color. It sounds wonderful and interesting. I think I am in for one set maybe two.
I am thinking for one of a disappearing block I saw with a change up to the middle to add the color in.

This is my first block swap. Has anyone else chosen "Bear Paw with a Wedge"? For the bright, is bright orange taken?

Ok ... I am in for two sets. I sure am nervous though. LOL! I have to use a orange-red. Is that ok?

I went to the quilt store and they did not have a bright orange that I liked, but I found a bright yellow. If I get the first set done, I will sign up for a 2nd and search more to find a nice bright orange!!

I am doing A Gaggle of Pinwheels and Soaring Past Time. My brights will be several different colors and I am using a solid black.

Could someone post a block so I can see what you are looking for exactly when you have time. Thanks

Do you ever go to the quilt store and see a fabric that you REALLY like but isn't QUITE right, only to have it just eat away at you until you go and BUY some.

I found a bright orange interspersed with a bright pink design - so sign me up to swap a second set!! (Haven't quite figured out the perfect design yet.)
