    I wanted to let you know I received my blocks and they are absolutely beautiful. I got them the day we left on our camping trip and thought I had sent a post before leaving but looking through the thread I didn't find it so I am sorry for being so long in replying.
    I want to thank everyone who participated in this swap, there is defianately alot of talented people here. I also want to say thank you to Coletta for all her work in coordnating this swap for us.

    i finally finished my first black & white swap quilt and here it is. i was well pleased with it. has anybody else finished theirs? if you have, please post, the rest of us want to see. i have another 12 squares but i haven't even started that one yet. such a wonderful memory quilt. so glad i joined the swap. donna

    thank you sewjoyce it turned out 49 x 63, i don't ever strive for any certain size, it just is what it turns out to be.

    I was just trying to determine if I wanted to put all 24 blocks of mine in one quilt for hubby to use in his chair or not :D :D But that size might work -- I'll have to measure him when he's all laid back :lol: :lol: :lol: (Thanks!)

    That's lovely! I think if I was going to use red I would look for that polka dot fabric.

    I also love your sister's (EllenK) quilt. I wish she had posted it in pictures so more people would see it. I am planning to make something very similar for one of mine soon I hope. I have all the material but wanted to finish something else first.

    It only uses 12 blocks but with all the sashing it looks like a full bed size if you wanted something larger than Donna's.
