Changed my mind. I was having trouble getting the Ohio Star together to my satisfaction, so I've switched to Carrie Nation, same fabrics. I'm feeling block-challenged today! I feel like I've made every mistake it's possible to make!

    Hi Collette,

How many people are in the swap so far? I am doing a block named flagstones from Block Base.

Last count was 50, wasn't it? I'm grinning here thinking about how you're going to handle at least 600 blocks and especially how you're going to lay them out to divvy up 12 at a time.

Are you going to lay each set of 12 in a stack and then just take one from each of 12 stacks, then the next 12, etc? Maybe you'll take one from every other stack.

Oh, that's not including the one that each person gets back. So, if you make 50 stacks, one of each person's own block (maybe with their return envelope) then make 50 MORE stacks of the other 11...

Inquiring minds want to know. Who knows, one of us might be doing this someday.

Pam, your block looks great! I've gotten 6 done so far...ordered more fabs yesterday. I'm just working with Fats...same block, just a few done in the same fabrics though. Its fun...I may actually get 2 sets done. I'm already thinking about my setting and quilt for the blocks. (And to think I have 2 bags in my room already- 1 with the Blue/white blocks and 1 with the Challenge blocks that I have not done a thing with yet.. )

Pam, I thought about the same thing last night, how in the world is Colletta gonna divy this all up, she will have quite a job, won't she? I bet she didn't expect for so many people to join up, this is my first time to do this so i'm excited about it.
