BLACK AND WHITE SAMPLER SWAP
#641
My first set is done. I may try to make a second set. My daughter saw some of the others and said I need to step it up to be at the calebre of some of you. i agree I will not have the most impressive blocks.

joanne, i don't have to THINK you helped, I KNOW you helped. and yes i tried to vote twice too. She gets about $17,000 worth of "stuff". one big thing she gets is a Janome 11000 machine worth about $7,500, she gets $500.00 worth of Marie Osmond fabrics and several other things. Her quilt will be auctioned off on e-bay and the money goes to the Children's Miracle Network. All of us around here are just so thrilled for Dean (by the way this Dean is a lady). and we're proud too that our local quilt shop, (Bettys Bobbin Box) has made the headlines. Thank you all again, Donna

I'm glad you said this, because mine is definitely simple.
I sat down to sew them together yesterday and realized I had cut all the blocks that were supposed to be 3.5 in. , 2.5 in. instead.  So off to buy more black material today.
Oh well, I guess I can stand another trip to Hobby Lobby. Humm I wonder what else I might find>

The first one was bound to be more difficult, especially with no pattern to follow, so I expect they would get easier. And the beauty of it is there's no points on the outside line so putting it with another block will be a breeze.
