I received two sets of blocks in the mail today from Karen 1322. That makes 6 so far.

P.S. Thanks so much for the FQ's, Karen!

I couldn't find this thread and finally did a search.

I have two blocks completed and the pieces cut for the rest. I wasn't liking the white I have though. I know it is the nature of white to look a little see-through but, it seemed too thin to me. I ordered 8 yards of Michael Miller Dainty Damask from Whittle's for $3.50 per yard. It says it's a Snow white tone on tone. They are very quick on delivery so I expect it early next week. I have several things that I want white for so I needed to order it anyway.

$3.50 a yard is a really good price. I'll have to search for Whittle's.

Heck yeah. I have placed two large orders there. I had already picked out the collection called Indigo, Pewter and Honey for a quilt but I hadn't ordered it yet. Good thing because it would have cost me a total of $104 at the other place and it was $66 at Whittle's. I also got the Coverlet II collection at $3.50 per yard when it would have cost $9 to $9.50 every other place I looked. www.whittlesfabrics.com

Wow! I can't wait to receive some of them too! :D

I better get cracking as soon as the fabric arrives. I can do all of them in a dedicated few hours. Who knows, I may do 2 sets.

That's what I thought too. :-) I have washed the fabric. Think I will take a break from the quilt I'm working on now and make a black and white block or two. I can't wait to see the real thing instead of a EQ6 designed block. :-)
