Blocks of the Orient - Signup CLOSED
#152
I'm hoping I can find time to get in on this! Due to this being one of my super busy times of the year, I'm going to wait to sign up until I'm sure I can get them done. The blocks that have been posted are gorgeous!!!

Ok, my mom sewed 1 set, too. But, once I started chain piecing, I was done with 8 in a little over an hour!
This block is so fun! :)

I knew this block was going to be an easy one to do....yet the fabric selection I chose really makes the difference. Right now, making two sets will pretty much give you one of each participant. But don't let that influence you!

Just wanted to let you know that I'd like to join the swap, too. I've got one set made. Not sure if I'll have time to make another set (I'm in both Boomerang swaps, the postage stamp swap, and the funky chicken swap -- whew!), but I will if I get a chance. :)
Here's one of the blocks from the set that's finished. :)

Here are two of the fabrics I'm considering for my blocks.
Pretty certain that this will be my black fabric - the black is much deeper than it looks in pic

Hoping to use this Robert Kaufman but need to find more to complete all 12 blocks
