Thanks, wvdek. I've never done anything blue and yellow before. It's fun to see all the variations, isn't it?

I have decided to make 3 blocks. Shoo Fly, Brasstown Star and Bow Tie. If anyone has chosen them let me know and I will change my block(s).

I have a question. When you are making 12 blocks for this swap and using three different fabrics for your block, how much of each of the three fabrics would you buy? Would a yard of each be too little? too much? (Not that I don't like to have scraps left over) What do you think?

    Mary,
I have made 12 blocks, with two colors. I bought two yards each, but only used one yard of each color. I hope this helps you figure out about how much you might need!! :D

I bought 2 yds. of each fabric and had a little left -- I made 24 blocks :-)
