BLUE AND YELLOW BLOCK SWAP - Closed - Blocks are Made and In The Mail
#454
First time mailing blocks.
How should they be prepared for mailing? Should they be folded in half? Can they be enclosed in a zip lock? I don,t have any envelope that will hold them laying flat. Please advice.

OQF - this was my first swap also. I placed my squares folded in third one time on top of each other in a size #5 bubble, waterproof, mailer. Regardless of how nicely ironed they were before packaging, they will not arrive that way. Also, don't forget your SASE same size, stamped, addressed, folded and placed inside. The bubble mailer cost me maybe $1.56 at Walmart and postage ... well I can't remember. Yours will be higher because it is International. Welcome aboard and please join us for the next swap. We may do fall colors. Colletta will let us know.

Orchid- wvdek pretty much summed up the packaging. I just wanted to add that you should attach a label to each block with your board name so everyone knows who made the block when they receive it. Some are also adding additional info such as: block name, location made etc.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
