very exciting.

i'm looking forward to getting these blocks much more then i did the black & white. i think its just because blue & yellow is so cheery and the weather has been blah here lately.

I finished my second set of Blue & Yellow blocks today! I really like how this pattern ("Antique Tile" from the Quilter's Cache) turned out. I strip-pieced a lot of the components and then the blocks went together really fast. It would make a great pattern for a child's quilt, because you could fussy cut the centre block if you wanted to. I'm going to use this pattern again sometime when I need to make a quick gift quilt.

Now I just need to square them up and then I'll be ready to package them up with the first set and take them to the post office first thing on Monday morning. Colletta, I'm sending you a PM to get your address and discuss how you want to deal with postage back to Canada.
