My blocks arrived yesterday *happy dance* I love them all! They are so beautiful and warm and cheerful. I am going to make a quilt for the master bedroom with them, using Kyia's idea of having pale yellow sashing between the blocks and blue corner blocks.

I'd also like to put a piano keys border around the finished top - so I have a request: If you participated in the swap and have any blue and yellow scraps left from your blocks, would you send me a few to use in my border? They don't need to be big - 2 inches by 6 inches is big enough for me to use. I think it would look great if some of the piano keys in the border were the same fabrics from the blocks!

    Thanks so much everyone!

PS. Colletta, I'm going to send you some more money for postage via PayPal, because I see that it cost you much more than we originally thought to send my blocks!

So, what's the status on Tisha's postman? Do we need to send a get well card or did she restrain herself?

Do you still need scraps or have you completed your quilt? Please let me know.

When you send the blocks back how do you decide who gets what.....I am not part of these swaps yet....but I like some groups of squares more than others....so how do you be fair and do people ever request I want so and sos. i know you get say 40 people joined and a person gets 12....why send their own back they can make an extra for them selves...... can someone ans just some of the questions I have....please no one take offense

I just randomly swap blocks. I don't take special requests. It would get way to confusing. They send 12 so that I can keep one of their own blocks with their envelope so I make sure I'm not sending them more duplicates of their own block. We've already had 82 sets of blocks swapped at one time, so its very easy to get confused.

    Coletta

Thank you very much for doing the organizations of the swap. It is a huge undertaking. I love my blocks.

You have done a wonderful job.
