I would prefer not to have blocks that smell of smoke. I guess that's the only input I can say.

I so want to join but I know I would kick myself in the butt if I did. Even tho we are moving I should set aside time daily to sew, but just can't seem to do that anymore. Maybe next time....... Have loved all the black and white blocks.

maybe we can send in with our blocks- smoking/nonsmoking so if someone wants to join, they can have blocks from the nonsmoking section. :)

Mine are nonsmoking and no pets are allowed in my room except spouse, because he is well trained. ( I call my hubby spouse for fun, since he's a Sr. and we have a Jr.)

    re smoke
    oh, dear.

I think it was decided with the black and white exchange - many of us have pets that participate - so we take our chances with that - I think those that were severely allergic chose not to participate?

I did use the sticky roller on front and back of my blocks before sending them on their way, buy BearCat did "help" with them - he approved of the fabric, he pressed it, made sure of where I was cutting, etc.

I just HAD to make a trip to my LQS this morning -- This is the fabric that I fell in love with for this swap. Fresh from the dryer!! What do you think?

OK, now, help me to decide on an EASY block -- OK????

i don't smoke and would prefer not to receive blocks from a smoking environment.

the smoke scented block will cause the non-smoking blocks to smell too once you place them in a squish together.

What about spraying them with febreeze or something of that nature before shipping them out ? Spray the squares , let them air dry and that should take care of the smell ... Just a thought
