All right! If our other lady sends the rest of her info to Janice, we're got half of our list filled already!! Yea! My fabric is washed, cut, pressed, wrapped in saran wrap and ready to be labled with names. Can you tell I'm ready?

Libster, you're just "nutso"...I'm doing taxes this weekend, my CPA is getting nervous. Have to get it to him soon, I'd rather be sewing, cutting, wrapping, labeling.......anything but these taxes.

Bluelady, I'm jealous! Are you going or coming home? I just put the calculator to bed for the night. I swear all these figures will be ready for my tax man on Monday morning.

Jaba, I totally resemble that remark! But I can relate. With only me, I don't have nearly as much to have to prepare for taxes now. I always used to do our returns, even my business ones. That's why I have all this silver hair now! I miss my DH dearly, but I don't miss all of the rest of it. I do enjoy being retired.

Jaba, going home to rain and cold. I was in Palm Springs for a meeting then went to visit my step dad and brother in Phoenix. I hadn't been back since my mom died last November and I needed to visit my step dad and help him with his taxes. And, lol, he has already found a new girlfriend. At 89 years old , one just can't wait around for it to be "not too soon" . I am glad to see he has found companionship . He is sooo lonely.

Libster use to do my own too. Now with the businesses and investments the laws change so much each year I can't keep up with them. Would rather be safe than sorry kind of thing...so I gladly let the CPA do it.
Bluelady my son lives up by Bellingham so I do know about that rain. Your rain is as bad as our snow Hope spring is coming soon. My Dad went through that same thing, so lonesome and the "lost" feeling, he finally found another companion too. Must admit it took me awhile to let it soak in but he's much happier and that's good. What a nice mini vacation you had, 2 warm places to visit.
