Urgodschild2. I LOVE the block you made! I am so loving my blocks as they are coming together. They will make an awesome quilt.

    Three more blocks done.

This really does match the deep red in the fabric.

It is cream, not white, colors appear odd in pictures!

You all are lucky to live semi close to the grandkids. I have one grandson who lives a mile from me and he is now 23. My other three grandkids (4,7,9) all live in Australia. Yep, on the other side of the world. BUT the best part is my daughter and son-in-law are Dentists in Melbourne and can afford to pay for me to come down under every year for a visit. I love it down there.

I hold my phone very very still and take several pictures so at least one is okay! and to get the names I just use Paint program. Paint is good to reduce the size way down too.

I use a Sony Cybershot to take photos because I have an old phone, no photo capabilities. It automatically "unblurs" my photos. I don't know how it does it, but if the picture is blurry, it will create a copy of it that is not blurry. I use PhotoScape (free download) to crop, resize and add text to the photo.

I finally learned last night how to add a line of text to a picture in my Paint program. I use that program for reducing size. Go to the tools box (second from left on Windows 8) and look for the "A" symbol. It's the one to use to "insert text into picture". Problem is, it will only let me put in one line of text. I can say who it's for, but not who it's from also. Oh well, a little bit is better than nothing. Yeah, and I figure all this out right after I finish the blocks for both groups and post the pics of them! I'll be ready with who's block it is the next time though.
