Has anyone made the block triple star by patchwork square? Tried it and it was a complete disaster, would love to know if it was me or the pattern. The Star on Star was from the same site and it worked out great. Thankful I have enough fabric left to make a differentblock terriamn

It was an interesting long weekend. Overall it was fun ... but I somehow ended up with what I believe is tendonitis in my left hand. I've had a brace on it for 3 days now, and it's feeling considerably better today. Making quilt blocks is taking longer than usual since my left thumb is immobilized in the brace, but I've gotten one block finished so far.
It's for Mosher92, and the pattern is The Dandy. Link: http://www.quilterscache.com/T/TheDandyQuiltBlock.html

I'm going to take the brace off for awhile and see if I can get the remaining 4 or so blocks finished for this group. I think it'll be okay as long as I take it easy. It's frustratingly hard to pick things up when you can't move your thumb! LOL! (Typing isn't easy, either. The brace keeps hitting the space bar without me realizing it, and suddenly I'm typing waaaaay on the other side of the screen! he he)

Uh oh! I just saw that Joanelizbay posted on the Clover thread a few minutes ago, requesting white tone on tone or the light blue in her fabric. There wasn't a note with the F8 or on the album page, so I just "went for it". I'll see if I can come up with another block from the scraps. So sorry about that! I didn't think to ask.

Do-over of joanelizbay's block. I had literally less than 1/16" of scraps left after making it! Whew! (The lighter blue fabric isn't that bright in person. My camera flash went wonky.) The block is called Arrowhead Puzzle. Link: http://www.quilterscache.com/A/Arrow...zzleBlock.html
Edited to add: I'm sending both blocks. If the first one won't work in your quilt, perhaps it can be used for another project.

Boy this group is FAST!!!!. We do have another month or so to work on these right?
I know some of you are in the other group too so I am sure you want to get this group done so you can move on.
Guess I am the slow and steady but it is good that you have not let me procrastinate.
