I meant in the previous post that I need to get a new camera also.

Well Road to California yesterday was very overwhelming. I guess I will never make quilts like that. I did get a few FQs to go with Joan's and Kassundra's fabric and they are in the laundry this morning.

Everything posted has been so beautiful, you ladies do amazing work!

Back on US soil, vacation was wonderful. Lots of sun and beautiful scenery with about 2 1/2 days of rain mixed in. Have a cold from h--- now and not feeling real great. Will be home in another week and start sewing blocks again.

I have finished Quilt addict's block. I had a near catastrophic measuring and especially cutting event, requiring some deep thinking and a few extra seams. But I had just enough extra to fix my mistake. The green fabric does have a sparkle thread in it, but the bolt said 100% cotton and it was in the quilting cotton section of the store. (I actually used the back side b/c the front side had silver 4 leaf clovers on it.)

I'm glad you said you'd tried white and liked it because it really made your fabric pop

This is the same tan as in the small flower centers, it looks dark here but it's not

My hubby got home and really thought the bright purple was needed for in the middle of the ladder...he loved these colors together and so do I

Only a few more to go
